In 2019, the reorganization of public transport began in the town of Vyksa. The management of the passenger bus company made optimization of bus traffic.
Our task was to show residents of the town where buses move in the format of a traffic scheme.

It is inconvenient to use a scheme that is an accurate map of the area. Stops have different densities, it is difficult to trace the movement of buses in places where there is a complex network of streets or landform. We formalized the city map, simplifying complex places without losing information and making the road network more homogeneous. The main shape on which the routes are aligned is a rectangle. In three places the routes are located diagonally.
Protanopia was taken into account in the scheme. This is such a pathology of perception of color shades in which a person does not recognize red. The circle indicated how the residents with protanopia see the scheme. Behind the circle there is a scheme with normal perception
As such, the scheme came to our work. In the process, the routes were changed very much, so the project lasted for 6 months.
We have identified the main sights of the city in the form of pictograms. These objects are easily recognized. For tourists, a signature was made next to each pictogram.
1. There are two types of stops on the diagram. Stops located on both sides of the road are with a "bite", Stops located on the one side are without a "bite".
